Dreamy Knits, Coats & Trousers: Edun Gets It Together

When Bono and his wife Ali Hewson started the line Edun in 2005, I thought it was just another bored housewife project.  And I haven't really payed much more attention to it, until now.  In 2013, Danielle Sherman was appointed Creative Director of the brand and everyone started paying attention.  And I started paying attention with this collection.  Once I looked into Danielle Sherman's past, I realized why.  Formerly, she worked as a designer at T by Alexander Wang (one of my wardrobe faves) and she cofounded The Row with Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen.  This collection was very the row, but done in a more casual, not trying so hard way.  I thought the color palette, fabrication and silhouettes are very desirable and more importantly wearable. My favorite items from the collection are the pleated flannel trousers, suede coats, fantastic knits and chic jackets.  Finally Edun has found a stride, let's hope Danielle delivers for Spring 2015 too!
